Our practice is litigation, frequently trying cases to verdict. We have tried hundreds of cases in counties throughout Illinois, Missouri, and the United States District Courts in both states. Yet, we also recognize the value of resolving cases before trial. We assess cases early to resolve them at the earliest possible stage, and our attorneys are experienced in alternative dispute resolution.

Our partners serve on the boards of preeminent organizations, the Board of Visitors for Southern Illinois University. We routinely serve as faculty members for CLE programs on a local and national basis. One of our firm's strengths is its commitment to the community. In 2005, the firm's managing partner founded Step It Up, a charity committed to providing free shoes and socks to underprivileged children in the local community. The firm is involved with the sponsorship of three scholarships, The Clemens Scholarship, which is for female law students; The Annual Ping Pong Scholarship, provided to the winner of the school's annual ping pong tournament; and The Class of 1991 Scholarship.
